The supermarket Costco in Arizona, known for selling cheap bulk packaged items of food, is selling a rare bottles of 60-year-old MacCallen Scotch priced at $17,000.
There are just 72 bottles of the drink on sale throughout the United States with the Arizona based Costco in Hayden and Raintree holding the only bottle in the state.
There were only 400 bottles of the Scotch ever produced but to find a bottle of $17,000 Scotch next to a giant pack of Costco toilet rolls seems like a very odd combination indeed.
