Latin America 50 Best Restaurants

Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna returns on the 30 October 2018. For the second year in a row, the event will be held in Bogotá, with the region’s brightest culinary stars descending on the Colombian capital for a night of gastronomical celebration and one hell of a party at the city’s Ágora events space.
The ceremony will be live-streamed by Fine Dining Lovers on this page at 8.45 PM Bogotà time.

The Maido restaurant in Lima, Peru, run by chef Mitsuharu Tsumura was the winner of last year's Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants: stay tuned to find out who will snag this year's top spot. In the meantime here's a reminder of Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants 2017 list in full here.

 A few awards have already been announced ahead of the ceremony. So far, the mother and son duo María Elena Lugo Zermeño and Gerardo Vázquez Lugo from Nico's in Mexico City have been named as the joint winners of The Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Awardthe Peruvian chef Pía León has been announced as the winner of the elit® Vodka Latin America's Best Female Chef Awardwhile Manu, the restaurant run by chef-owner Manoella Buffara in Cutriba, Brazil, has been named as the Miele One to Watch.
