Singapore is ramping up to hold the first ever edition of the Asia-Pacific selections for Bocuse d'Or from the14th to 15th April 2016 at the Singapore Expo. The S.Pellegrino sponsored event will bring together the best chefs from across the region for a live cooking competition with selected winners being awarded a place at the Bocuse d'Or World Cooking contest final held in January 2017 in France.
Nine teams will battle it out for just five spots, with each candidate showcasing their talent and culinary culture in front of a prestigious jury and enthusiastic audience.
Competing chefs from across Asia and the Pacific will represent nine countries including Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. See the full chef contestant line-up below along with their respective restaurants.

The jury will consider the taste, the presentation and the expression of culinary culture to select the most promising young chef of the Asia-Pacific area.
The contest will be presided by Bruno Menard, President of Bocuse d'Or Singapore and head of the brand new local organization Bocuse d'Or Singapore Academy, together with Otto Weibel, Honorary President.
