12 of The Richest Chefs in The World

The Richest have compiled a list of the richest chefs in the world for 2015 and it’s the British chef Jamie Oliver that comes out on top with a reported net worth of $400 million.

Oliver is followed by the legendary French chef Paul Bocuse with reported value of $185 million and Gordon Ramsay hits third spot with an estimated net worth of $175 million.

The list seems pretty on the nail to us though they do seem to have totally overlooked Alan Wong as one of the richest chefs in the world. Wong was reported to be worth over $1 billion as far back as 2013.

The list, apart from Mr. Bocuse, is mainly dominated by celebrity chefs with a big television presence - it’s the massive deals they do on television shows that seem to become the largest earners for chefs.

Below is the list of the richest chefs in the world. Take a look:

These numbers are not right. Bourdain's worth at least $9M and it doesn't account for the various perks he gets on his travels. Also, you mention Rachel Ray, Nigella Lawson. What restaurants were they ever chefs at? And why is Paul Deen even mentioned as a chef?

I'd love to see a list of real working chefs and how much they make. I guarantee the world millions will never be attached to their names.
