Ferran the Man who Can
This week FDL sat down with the culinary giant Ferran Adria to discuss what he's been up to since elBulli closed its doors back in July 2011.
The Spanish chef discussed his work on the elBulli Foundation expected to open in 2014, his latest project LaBullipedia (a Wikipedia style food website) and he also offered his opinion on how the worldwide gastronomy scene will develop over the next ten years.
The molecular master also dished up some valuable advice for young chefs wanted to break into the industry.
Le Grand Fooding Milan
Tattoos, street food and chefs - just three of the things on offer at the latest Le Grand Fooding event held in Milan.
Held in an old saw mill the food event was urban, funky and food fueled with revelers from all over Italy and further afield coming to sample dishes from ten of the world's up and coming chefs.
Music was pumped out by DJs and with The Young Turks and Andreas Dahlberg in attendance it was one of the funkiest food events of the year so far. We also managed to get some great pictures for yet another top FDL gallery.
