Taste of Milano
To start this week we brought you a selection of amazing food dishes from the Taste of Milano festival. The taste event is an annual event that sees some of the best chefs in Milan and from around the world present some of their top dishes to hungry herds of revelers intent on having a tasty experience.
Some of Italy's tops chefs help pop-up restaurants at the event and Atol Kocchar, the two Michelin starred Indian chef brought his London Benares concept for the Italians to have a taste of high-end Indian cuisine.
We collected some great pictures of all the chefs and their dishes and managed to ask some of the chefs for their Tastes of Milan - Foods, drinks and locations that signify Milan for them.
Ants on Noma's Table
During our coverage of The World's 50 Best Restaurants ceremony in London we were lucky enough to sit down for a chat with the owner of the world's best restaurant Rene Redzepi.
From Denmark, the chef has built a world reputation for his approach to discovering new and unused Danish ingredients and presenting them to the world.
We managed to film a great video interview with Rene talking about Noma, how his team are very excited by their find of Danish ants, what advice he'd offer to young chefs and how he believes vegetables will soon rule the dining scene.
The Foolish Mag from Sweden
There's a new food mag on the scene and it's turning quite a few heads. Called Fool it's by husband and wife couple Lotta and Per-Anders Jorgensen who have spent years working together, Lotta as an artistic director and Per-Anders as a food photographer.
We were lucky enough to get an interview with the duo ahead of the launch of their first issue of Fool, discussing the magazine, it's focus and how they came up with the idea. We also managed to get some great tips and tricks from Per-Anders about how to take better food pictures.
In the Blog
We visited a restaurant inside an Italian cave, examined the MIT invention that stops ketchup sticking to the bottom of a bottle and brought you a great recipe for Brazilian fish stew.
