'Somebody Feed Phil' Returns for Fifth Season

Hit Netflix food and travel show, Somebody Feed Phil, will return for a fifth season, it has been confirmed.

“I’m thrilled," said host and executive producer Phil Rosenthal in a statement in The Hollywood Reporter. "The world is opening up again and so is my mouth.”

Season five will stretch to 10 episodes, outnumbering all previous seasons, which have seen the high-energy foodster make new friends in Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Singapore, the Mississippi Delta and Hawaii, to name but a few.

In a recent interview with Fine Dining Lovers, Rosenthal revealed his bucket list of places left to visit, including India, Australia, Kyoto in Japan and Oaxaca to further explore his love of Mexican food. So travel restrictions permitting, these destinations might well be on the menu this season.

A return date for the series has not yet been announced.
