Poynt is a traveller companion app that offers restaurant recommendations, daily deals, weather and event information and even data on the price of petrol in the country you're currently traveling in. The app has launched across most devices and is available at the moment in Canada, United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Australia, France and India.
The most noticeable difference with this app when compared with other recommendation services is that it teams well with other services such as Open Table and LaFourchette - even allowing users in the U.S. to access some menus and order food before they arrive.
