Picnic season is just around the corner, but if you feel too lazy for packing a basket and a blanket and heading off somewhere, the architect Haiko Cornelissen has kept you in mind.
The PicNYC table is a project that brings the atmosphere of a picnic right to your home. Thanks to a simple, lightweight structure in aluminium, the table’s surface is transformed into a planter box for grass, flowers or any kind of seeded spread that suits the room or the mood.
It’s an original, fun way to let your green thumb express itself and will impress your most botanically-minded friends! View the gallery of the picNYC table on Haiko Cornelissen's website.
