Ever the compassionate vegetarian, Paul McCartney wants you to skip turkey this Thanksgiving.
To further convey his message, the former Beatle has teamed up with the PETA in a new anti-cruelty campaign. Their message: "Like chickens, the 300 million turkeys raised and killed for their flesh every year in the United States have no federal legal protection...more than 45 million turkeys are killed each year at Thanksgiving alone, and more than 22 million die at Christmas."
If you are interested in joining McCarnety and PETA on their turkey-free Thanksgiving, you can try any of our vegetarian dishes or the vegan recipes on PETA's website.
