The Michelin Guide for New York 2019 has been released with four new two-star restaurants making the legendary guidebook.
Gabriel Kreuther, Ichimura at Uchu, L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon and Tetsu Basement which has since closed all received a two-star rating. Chef Joel Robuchon, who passed earlier this year, also had a new restaurant in the one star category with Le Grill de Joel Robuchon.
The three-star category remained unchanged but there were a total of thirteen new editions in the one-star ratings.
Asian food was once again celebrated in the city with new stars for Jeju Noodle Bar, Sushi Nakazawa, Atomix, Okuda, Sushi Noz, Noda and Kosaka. There were also two Mexican restaurants awarded stars: Claro and Oxomoco.
