A UK Company claims to have made the world's most expensive cupcake using over 20 edible gold sheets and other high quality ingredients.
The cupcake idea was cooked up by Ms Shafeena Yusuff Ali and was made to celebrate the confectionary company Bloomsburys opening a new flagship store in Dubai.
The cake alone is valued at just $1,000 with the rest of the cost being associated with the gold plated tea trolley, plate and cutlery the cake is served with. But even at $1,000 the company still claim to have made the world's most expensive edible cupcake.
It all seems a bit over board on the gold leaf to us but here's a video to make your own mind up.
