Like his mentor, Ramsay had something of a difficult upbringing and similarly this seems to have spurred him on to reach the heights he has. The overarching message in the video below seems to be, 'just do it' and never allow yourself to feel too comfortable. Also, pay attention in language classes at school, as this could be invauable later on (Ramsay is a fluent French speaker).
Despite having acheived almost everything in the profession, you can still feel Ramsay's enthusiam for what he calls "the best job in the world."
