The Brazilian burger chain Bob's has launched a range of edible packaging for their burgers allowing customers to chew down on burger wrappers that look just like normal paper packaging.
The idea came from the ad agency NBS who played on the fact that Bob's burgers are just so tasty customers can't wait to remove the wrapper before eating.
Looking at the video below and a number of similar stories from 2012 it seems that edible wrappers may be the future of food packaging.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
