Chef Davide Oldani has said he is very happy by the number of colleagues and famous chefs who attended the 10th Anniversary of his D'O restaurant on October 28th, Milan.
Speaking just after the event, the chef, whose business has recently been the subject of a case study by Harvard University, said: "I'm really happy because there are so many colleagues, chefs and friends that represent Italian gastronomy here to celebrate a "cook" and his pop cuisine, a different idea of cooking, that makes quality and accessible food".
Held inside a beautiful private home next to Oldani's restaurant in Cornaredo, the celebrations were attended by some of the biggest names in Italian gastronomy, including, Aimo Moroni, Gualtiero Marchesi, Gianfranco Vissani, Perbellini, Lorenzo Cogo, Alessandro Negrini, Dario Cecchini, Carlo Cracco, Andrea Berton, Roberto Okabe, Pino Cuttaia, Corrado Assenza and many more.
Asked about the highlights of the past 10 years at D'O, Oldani said: "The best moment of the decade? Ten years ago, when I opened the restaurant. That day I said, 'Now I really feel good'."
