In exciting new from the MAD food festival Eater are reporting that chefs Roy Choi and Daniel Patterson have plans to open a fast food business together.
Called loco’l, meaning local and crazy, Eater report that the pair announced plans to open their first location in San Francisco with further plans for lots of other locations.
The pair served the audience a taster of one of their first recipes (seen above). A burger that features a bun produced from 20% rice with plans for all dishes to be seasonal and well sourced.
The duo plan to go up against fast food operations with no menu items priced above $6.
We can’t wait to see what they have in store.
