American breakfast cereals have gotten a Beverly Hills makeover in the form of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Coco Chanel and Cartier. Lucky Charms cereal has turned into Louis Vuitton Charms, Frosted Flakes is now Burberry Flakes... you get the picture.
Unfortunately, the fabulous designer cereals are not for sale. They are the creation of New York foodie Tricia Clarke-Stone, aka The Glam Foodie, for her blog Sip, Chat, Chow.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
