Two of the world’s most creative pastry chefs will combine forces today in New York.
Dominique Ansel, famous for producing the Cronut, and Cédric Grolet, famous for creating a beautiful range of pastry fruits, will join forces.
Grolet will be selling his famous fruits at Dominique Ansel Bakery in Soho, New York. Those eager enough to queue, sales start at 8am, will be able to snag three of Grolet’s creations.
The first is a red strawberry made with strawberry ganache and a center of fresh strawberries and strawberry compote. They’ll be a lemon made with yuzu ganache with a center of lemon marmalade and candied lemon peel and finally a single hazelnut made with hazelnut ganache, creamy caramel, hazelnut praliné, moist hazelnut biscuit, and a glint of shimmering gold.
