One of Italy's most well known regions, Tuscany is a destination famous for its rolling hills, fascinating history and wonderful food. For those times when you can't make it to Italy, you can turn to gourmet food shops that bring Tuscany to your table.
A great example of an online shop selling authentic Tuscan products is La Boutique del Gusto, which translates as the boutique of flavor. The shop offers a wide range of Italian products, inluding some of Tuscany's famous olive oil, wine, honey and chocolate.
However, the shop also offers other Italian staples you may not be familiar with but should try like cacciucco, small Tuscan chickpeas that hail from Chianti. Another delicacy to sample are Toscanelli beans from Patromagno, small wine beans with sage.
Lovers of charceturie would enjoy Tuscan finocchiona, a type of regional salami infused with wild fennel, and capocchia, a type of Tuscan head cheese similar to soppressata.
The best way to enjoy your new culinary treasures will be to wash them down with quality Tuscan wine such as the ones in the video below. Buon appetito!
