Ever since macarons became the new cupcakes, these French treats have taken on a number of forms. We've seen Cheetos-flavored macarons and even ones made from pig's blood from Mugaritz. The latest trend in the making? Anatomical macarons.
Made by Miss Insomnia Tulip, thesebloody macarons were displayed at London's Pathology Museum in St. Bart's last October, along with cakes that mirror organs in the body.
