Eight restaurants have been added to the Les Grand Tables du Monde for 2017, a prestigious guide to some of the best restaurants in the world.
Amongst the new editions are L'Espadon at the Ritz Paris, having reopened last year following extensive refurbishment, with chef Nicholas Sale taking the reins from Michel Roth, Mauro Colagreco’sLe Mirazur on the Côte d'Azur, Andrew Fairlie’s eponymous restaurant at Hotel Gleneagles in Scotland, and Julien Royer’sOdette in Singapore.
The guide, established in 1954 to “defend the values of great gastronomy and the art of living” covers 26 countries, across five countries and features 172 restaurants. It is now presided over by David Sinapian, partner of Anne-Sophie Pic, France’s only female three Michelin star chef. Take a look at 8 dishes from Pic’s brand new London restaurant here.
