Can anything ever be more comforting than mom's chicken soup? When it's cold outside and you are miserable, there's an easy solution: make a pot of one of our chicken soups to soothe your troubles. But are you sure to know how to cook chicken soup?
We've got a spicy chiken tortilla soup from Eva Longoria, who shared her recipe with FDL after publishing it in her cookbook Eva's Kitchen: Cooking with Love for Family and Friends.

We also have a great recipe for Asian coconut and chicken soup (pictured above), which is infused with chilies and scallions and is topped with cilantro. It is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate.
But if you are a die-hard fan of classic chicken soup, we'd like to share our very special recipe for mother's chicken broth - it's made with plenty of herbs, garlic, onions and carrots to bring you back to good in no time.
