About Making a Low-Proof Whisky Sour

Welcome to Low-Proof Pairings, where we teach you how to make low-proof cocktails and pair them with food at home.

In this episode we’re making 'whimpy sour': a classic whisky sour, only this time with a reduced alcohol content. The ingredients of whimpy sour are: 2 oz bourbon whisky, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 1/2 oz sugar syrup, 3/4 oz egg white, a lemon peel and ice. Super simple to make at home.
