For the first time, the 50 Best organization is launching a dedicated ranking for the North American continent. The inaugural North America’s 50 Best Restaurants list will be revealed at a live ceremony on September 25, 2025, hosted at Wynn Las Vegas.
The announcement marks a major milestone for 50 Best, which previously focused on global rankings and regional lists in Latin America and Asia. The new list will spotlight restaurants from the United States, Canada, and select parts of the Caribbean, bringing together chefs, restaurateurs, and food world insiders for a multi-day celebration of North American gastronomy.
“Las Vegas has long been a city full of world-class hospitality, making it the perfect stage for the first-ever North America’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony,” said William Drew, director of content for North America’s 50 Best Restaurants. “We’re thrilled to gather the culinary community of North America in such an iconic location, and we look forward to shining a spotlight on the incredible talent and stories shaping the region’s food culture.”
The ceremony will feature a live countdown of the top 50, culminating in the reveal of The Best Restaurant in North America. In the lead-up to the event, several individual awards will be announced, including the Champions of Change, Art of Hospitality, and One To Watch. Additional special awards will be revealed during the ceremony itself.
S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna serve as the main partner and official water partner of the event, and are the exclusive sponsor of the Best Restaurant in North America 2025 award. The partnership continues the brands’ longstanding role in supporting culinary excellence on a global scale.

The list will be determined by 300 anonymous voters—a diverse panel of chefs, restaurateurs, writers, educators, and seasoned diners. These voters are recruited across eight regional academies: USA Northeast, USA South, USA Midwest, USA West, Canada East, Canada Central, Canada West, and the Caribbean. Members of the 50 Best team and its partners do not vote.
The Las Vegas event will include a full schedule of programming, including #50BestTalks, a thought-leadership forum exploring key hospitality topics, as well as a Chefs’ Feast, a press conference, and the awards ceremony itself. The full list will be published online immediately following the ceremony.
