Oyster Hunting in Denmark
This week on Fine Dining Lovers we travelled to Denmark to take part in a wild oyster safari in the north of the country.
We donned our waders and set out into the cold waters of North Jutland to pick fresh European flat oysters straight from the banks.
It was an interesting look at the work of a small organization called Food who are trying to educate the world about Danish oysters and just how good they are.
A Tasting Tour of Austin
We also met with the star chef Paul Qui, the winner of the 2013 S.Pellegrino Cooking Cup, who took us on a tasting tour of Austin in Texas.
Qui offered up some suggestions on his favorite places to eat in Austin with tips and tricks on the best places to buy Ramen, Sushi and BBQ.
If you're planning a trip to Austin anytime soon and want to eat well then this is a great story for you.
Croissants A-Z
To finish the week we took a look at croissants and offered up 26 interesting things you probably don't know about Europe's favorite morning treats.
From their debut in France in 1889 to the fact that it may have been the Viennese who gave them their half moon shape.
This is an interesting look at croissants that will probably make you think twice the next time you go to enjoy their flaky goodness.
