January 1st was the first day of 2016 but it also marked the beginning of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 contest. This exciting challenge is open to all chefs under 30 years old with at least one year’s experience.
This international talent hunt will see 20 young chefs picked from around the world compete in the Grand Final in October 2016. You can apply online until March 31st.
This week we also discovered the foodie side of 19th century French painter Henry Toulouse-Lautrec. The famed artist from Provence had various aspects to his personality and was a wonderful cook and generous host.
