Tired of cooking spaghetti and obtaining less than stellar results? While cooking spaghetti isn't rocket science preparing perfect pasta does require a bit of know-how. Enter Italian chef and restaurateur Gennaro Contaldo who offers his essential tips for cooking spaghetti like a pro.
Contaldo, who contributes to Jamie Oliver's Food Tube and appears in the BBC's Two Greedy Italians, shares basic but valuable tips in the video below. For instance, you should always cook spaghetti (and all pasta for that matter) in enough water and be sure to salt it generously. In case you are wondering, adding oil to the pasta water isn't part of the process.
