Pitched as a 'reverse microwave' the Enviro-Cool V-Tex chiller is a new invention that works to cool food and drinks.
It can apparently cool a canned drink from room temperature to 5ºC in just 45s and the video below shows just how it works.
The V-Tex uses rapid cooling technology found in commercial vending machines and offers up a home version that offers a range of uses. Imagine being able to chill a bottle of wine to a perfect temperature before serving.
At the moment the product is still a concept but the company say they hope to make it commercially available in the future.
