A Healthy pizza he been developed by a team of scientists in Scotland. The pizza provides a third of the minerals, vitamins and nutrients the average person requires each day.
The Eat Balance Pizza range is being launched by Scottish entrepreneur Donnie Maclean in collaboration with Glasgow University nutrition expert Professor Mike Lean.
There are three versions of the nine-inch pizzas – cheese and tomato, spicy chicken and ham and Âpineapple. The team said that one of th most effective ingredients in the pizza is seaweed which is used to replace salt and boost the nutritional content off the pizza.
Each has a calorie content between 514 to 570 and contains vitamins A,C, E, zinc, calcium, fibre and iron.
