If you've often wished you could trade cookies for favors, you may want to consider moving to Finland. That's where a bus company had the sweet idea of giving passengers free rides in exchange for gingerbread cookies.
Meant as a way of spreading holiday cheer, the Matkahuolto bus company offered free one-way rides to passengers who presented edible sweet and spicy cookies decorated with the origin and destination.
Word of the gingerbread cookie promotion soon spread to Twitter and became so popular the bus company had to turn passengers away after it ran out of free tickets. Bummer!
