Pastry chef extraordinaire Dominique Ansel (of the Cronut fame) and Michelin-starred molecular chef Wylie Dufresne have come together to create the ultimate breakfast sandwich.
Their wd~Ansel Egg Melt features soft scrambled eggs with a confit egg yolk, homemade cheese, black truffle, bacon, and maple flakes. All served on a smoked English muffin with truffled hash browns on the side. Are you hungry yet?!
The $20 breakfast sandwich will be served at the Dominique Ansel Kitchen located in the West Village (just walking distance from Ansel's famed SoHo bakery). It's available this weekend only, from Saturday, January 16th to Monday, January 18th beginning at 9am each day.
