I Heart NY: Ingredients and Recipes is the new book from the duo behind the Eleven Madison Park restaurant Daniel Humm and Will Guidara. Their newest book focuses on specific ingredients and is aimed at offering recipes that can easily be used by the home cook.
The book includes stories on farmers and artisan producers who create some of their most loved ingredients and offers up an in-depth look at the region’s farming traditions.
The book features around 150 recipe highlighting a rich mix of ingredients: apples, celery root, foie gras and even nettles. It has some classic NY recipes like Manhattan Clam Chowder and of course one for a Bloody Mary and is in tune with the new direction the duo have taken inside their Eleven Madison Park restaurant.
