Let your conscience be clear and get a helping hand from Massimo Bottura's Francescana team, turning your leftovers into tasty dishes instead!
The Cooking is an Act of Love campaign, by Food for Soul, the non-profit organization founded by Chef Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore has enlisted a line-up of their inhouse chefs to share their recipe ideas and reduce food waste this festive season.
Chefs from Osteria Francescana and Casa Maria Luigia in Modena, Italy through toTorno Subito in Dubai, will be sharing invaluable secret family recipes to reuse party scraps and create delicious new dishes, from common kitchen waste like chicken carcasses and stale bread.
Over the coming weeks a number of recipes will be shared online, from Davide di Fabio, Sous-Chef of Osteria Francescana, revealing the secrets of an ancient Abruzzo soup to Bernardo Paladini, Chef of the Torno Subito sharing his Pappa al Pomodoro recipe, some 5000km away.
The recipes will all be available on the Food for Soul website as well as a compendium of tips on how to use party scraps in a creative way. Remember to post your finished efforts on social networks with the hashtag #CookingIsAnActOfLove.
