Here’s a weird one. An alarm clock that wakes people up with the sound of a knife hitting a chopping board.
Created by Jikk Alarm, the simple contraption works on the idea that there’s nothing better to wake up to than the sound and smell of someone cooking your breakfast for you.
To reach this goal, the alarm clock will also blow a scented miso mist into the air, giving sleepy state you the wonderful warm feeling of waking to food.
It’s of course a crazy idea, but we’re pretty sure there are some chefs and miso lovers out there that would get a rise from this in more ways than one.
