The second Welcome Conference in New York - a hospitality focused event organised by Anthony Rudolf and Will Guidara - closed last week and the videos from various speakers who presented have been made available online.
Carrying on from the high quality offering at their first conference in 2014, the organisers followed up with a diverse selection of speakers covering everything from social music to the irrelevancy of being right.
Daniel Humm, Richard Betts, Danny Meyer and Alan Richman are all included in the lineup of speakers and every presentation delivered during the two day conference is now available to watch online.
The overriding theme of this year’s event explored the idea of being right in the context of hospitality and the ‘complexities around what it means to be right’.
The Welcome Conference comes at a perfect time when more and more restaurants are trying to balance the energy of restaurant to reflect the front-of-house and hospitality aspects just as much as the food.
