It's always hard to find the perfect holiday gift for the foodie who seems to have everything. If they happen to be a cocktail lover then we have a gift that's fit for the occasion: cocktail bitters made from human tears. Your tears, to be exact. We are not kidding.
That's just what London creatives Bompas & Parr have cooked up in their latest workshop (the dynamic duo is responsible for breathable alcohol and fireworks you can taste). Their teary workshop promises to help you craft the most imaginative Christmas gift to date. Here's the description from their website:
"There are 3 types of tears; basal, reflex and psychic tears. We will aim to extract all three by various methods, from massage and menthol, in order to distill the finest bottle of bitters. Then you’ll select your aromatic herbs and spices and infuse or tincture them in high proof spirit. Then you’ll name and dedicate your bitters and make like a medieval monk in his scriptorium to pen a fine, festive label."
We should note that the workshop has been sold out but more sessions are being organized due to popular demand, according to The Daily Meal.
