This week on Fine Dining Lovers we met with the president of the James Beard Foundation, Susan Ungaro, about her work at the foundation and the future of American cuisine.

Le Cirque
Following on from the James Beard Awards we travelled to New York to meet this year’s Life Time Achievement winner, the iconic restaurateur, Sirio Maccioni.
Maccioni is the owner of the famous Le Cirque restaurant, a place that for 40 years has served Presidents, celebrities and at least one Pope.
We met with him to discuss his work at the heart of New York’s restaurant industry and hear some of the brilliant anecdotes he’s acquired throughout his career.
