‘Off The Menu’
This week on Fine Dining Lovers we went ‘Off The Menu’ with S.Pellegrino and chef Michael Voltaggio for a very special dinner in New York.
We caught up with Voltaggio before the event which saw the chef create a range of dines to be incoriparted as part of a multi sensory event that saw diners experience a number of themes, such as Beauty and Togetherness, in specifically interactive areas.
We spoke with the chef about his passion for cooking and the challenge of working ‘Off The Menu’ for this unique event - find out more now.
A Meat Marathon in Peru
From New York we travelled to Lima to take part in a special ‘Butcher’s Table’ dinner at the Osso butcher’s shop.
Owned and run by Renzo Garibaldi, Osso has quickly become one of the most exciting dining experibexes in Lima and Garbaldi one of the most important butcher’s in Peru.
We caught up with the young butcher during one of his special diners to find out more about Osso and the work Garibaldi is doing with local Peruvian farmers.
Kyoto
We finished the week at the Nishiki Market in Kyoto as we took an interesting tasting tour through one of the most interesting food markets in the world.
From Emperor’s cuisine to some of the most expensive rice on the planet, this is an interesting guide to a place that is completely packed with flavour.
Trust us, with stores lot really operating by a preassigned number, you really do need a helping hand to experience the best of Nishiki Market.
