This week at Fine Dining Lovers we kicked things off with an exclusive interview with renown chef José Andrés.
The focus of the interview was the chef's incredible journey of feeding the people of Puerto Rico after the island was affected by Hurricane Maria. Through his non-profit organization, World Central Kitchen, the chef served over 3 million meals to people in need.
José Andrés did something similar in Haiti after it was hit with an earthquake back in 2011. It's no wonder he's been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Also this week we dove into the world of high-tech mixology, a trend pioneered by chef Grant Achatz and his Aviary cocktail bar, which opened in Chicago back in 2011.
From custom designed bar tools and special techniques, this new world of mixology is ever evolving and the results are impressive.
