Swedish Chef Magnus Nilsson will celebrate the release of his meticulously researched new Nordic Cookbook, the first comprehensive guide to Nordic cooking ever written in English, with a tour across the USA from East coast to West coast in collaboration with Dinner Lab.
Nilsson, whose restaurant Faviken currently ranks #25 in S. PellegrinoWorld's 50 Best Restaurants, will kick off the tour in New York on November 14th. The tour will take in six stops and end in Portland on November 20th.
Nilsson has teamed up with Dinner Lab to create a one off dinner at each of the stops. Working with an acclaimed Scandanavian or American chef in each city, Nilsson will host the dinner and eat with guests whilst the nominated chef will cook a five course dinner based on recipes from Nilsson's book.
Chefs include; Daniel Burns, Fredrik Berselius, Christopher Haatuft, Gísli Matthías Auðunsson, Emma Bengtsson, Even Ramsvik.
Guests will leave with their own signed copy of Nilsson’s Nordic Cookbook as a momento of the event.
