Rene Redzepi's long awaited cutting edge 'Mad Symposium' will return to Refshaleøen Copenhagen this summer, from August 28th to 29th. Following a year off, and in the wake of the Mad Symposium, Sydney on April 3rd, expectations will be set even higher for the events that will unfold on the carefully curated theme: 'Tomorrow's Kitchen.'
As per previous years there will be a series of keynote speakers and stirring presentations confronting difficult topics with an emphasis on active participation.
The two chosen questions designed to spark action this year are as follows;
What do we hope our kitchens will be like in the future? And what can we do today to make those dreams a reality?
Tickets
A carefully selected 300 'active participants' will be chosen strictly via application or via a proposal for a session, including talks, discussions, demonstrations or workshops. The deadline for both is April 14th.
Tickets are DKK 3000 ($445) including boat transport, breakfast, lunch, coffee, beer, snacks, water, and a final dinner. However if your proposal for a session is successful, you ticket price will be waived.
