California-based painter and illustrator Kristen Cumings has been commissioned by a famous Jelly beans brand to produce several works of art to add to their collection entitled Jelly Belly Masterpieces of Confectionary Art. The painter has taken about 50-60 hours to complete the life-size paintings made of approximately 9,000 to 12,000 jelly beans each.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
