If you're an avid baker with a soft spot for ramen, here's your next crafty project that beautifully combines the two: ramen cookies!
Amber Spiegal, a keen cookie fan with endless decorative ideas, has been showing off the handy work and eye trickery or 'Trompe l'oeil behind her latest 'ramen cookies' on YouTube. With over 180,000 views it looks like her work has hit the spot.
"After visiting Japan last year, ramen has become my new favorite meal and now I have to try out every noodle shop that pops up around my home town. I can’t get enough! " Amber admits on her website.
No wonder her passion for ramen has influenced her artwork in these dinky sized ramen bowls made from nothing more than a few edible ingredients like cookie dough, royal icing, food colouring and egg whites.
