With just over a week to go beforeExpo Milano 2015 opens its doors to the public the organisation behind the event are calling on the big names of Italy to help launch the first ever Universal Exposition to focus on the central theme of food.
On April 30th at Milan’s Duomo Cathedral the world famous Italian singer Andrea Bocelli will perform a show to inaugurate the Expo and open the one of the most exciting and largest food themed events ever produced.
Joined by the pianist Lang Lang, the orchestra from the famous Scala theatre and a whole host of other performers for a musical showdown that will be streamed live for all the world to see.
Following up with another big name on May 4th the Italian football star Javier Zannetti will take to the pitch at the San Sio stadium for a game packed with international football stars to raise money for charitable organisations that support projects aimed at children and families in Milan.
