If you live in New York City or Los Angeles, your food is about to come to you as S.Pellegrino launches its first-ever Destination Dining series, a cross-coast dish swap between the two states.
Eight restaurants in New York City and Los Angeles respectively are up for the challenge and have paired up to swap their favourite creations, bringing a taste of their signature dishes to the opposite coast.
First up, from October 15 to 23, New Yorkers will be able to dine on Jon & Vinny's marinara braised meatballs, ricotta and garlic bread at Frankies Spuntino. In LA, foodies will get to taste Frankies Spuntino's secret recipe meatballs freshly cooked at Jon & Vinny’s. And that's just for starters, see the line-up below.
“Experiencing new cuisines is such an integral part of why we travel,” says Filippo Mazzaia, Senior Market Development Manager for S.Pellegrino. “However, with trips still on hold, people are craving those
unique dining and cultural experiences. With Destination Dining, we’re able to give food lovers a culinary escape while also lending support to independent restaurants during these challenging times.”
The series also comes with a feel-good factor and supports Relief Opportunities for all Restaurants (ROAR NY), an organisation providing direct assistance to restaurant workers.
