How to Make Pomegranate Lemonade
To prepare a delicious pomegranate lemonade recipe first combine the sugar and thyme sprigs in a saucepan with 150 ml of water.
Stir over a low heat until the sugar dissolves.
Once dissolved, simmer for 1 minute and then set aside to cool and infuse.
Once cool, strain the syrup into a bottle and mix with the lemon juice.
Knock the pomegranate seeds out of the halves and crush half in a bowl, straining the juice into a jug.
Divide the pomegranate juice between four serving tumblers.
Top with the lemon and thyme sugar syrup and then top up with the sparkling water, stirring briefly to mix.
Serve the pomegranate lemonade with ice cubes, lemon slices, and thyme sprigs.
