Fresh off his win as number one on the Latin America's 50 Best Restauransts list, Martinez announced he would be relocating his award-winning restaurant Central from its current location in Lima to the countryside near the city Cusco.

From Martinez we moved on to discover the secret life of eggs. We were floored to discover some interesting facts about this breakfast and baking staple.
For instance, did you know the average Mexican eats 321 eggs per year?! Or that China produces over 450 billion eggs annually? It's incredible!
We ended the week with a mad craving for Mexican food. That's because writer Noah Charney took us on a journey to discover the authentic recipe for chiles rellenos (stuffed peppers dipped in a batter and fried).
Staff shortages are hitting the hospitality sector hard, prompting some restaurants to look outside the industry to train those without restaurant experience for life in the kitchen. Andrew Friedman finds out more.
