Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart to Host Cooking Show
09 August, 2016
Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart and hip-hop star Snoop Dogg are teaming up for a new celebrity cooking show, it’s been reported.
According to Variety, the VH1 show has a working title of Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party and will air in the autumn. In the show, Stewart and Snoop (using Dogg as a surname feels wrong) will cook for and eat with a handful of famous ‘friends’ at a staged dinner party.
Snoop has previously appeared on Stewart’s eponymous TV show. In fact, you can watch them making mashed potatoes together in the video below.
Snoop said of the partnership: “My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”
This celebrity cooking show should be a lot of fun.
As we recently reported, Snoop was a big fan of hot dogs before finding out how they were made on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Watch the hilarious video here, but be warned this may put you off eating hot dogs for life too.
Dal is one of those recipes that goes all the way back to the Indus Valley Civilisation. Unlike dishes such as biryani, brought to India by the Moghuls, it is one of those foods that has always been there. It is therefore a building block of Indian culture.
