What is Remoulade Sauce?
Remoulade sauce is a creamy sauce of French origin. It is similar in appearance to tartar sauce but contains mayonnaise, as well as mustard, herbs, capers, anchovies, and chopped gherkins. It is served chilled as a side to seafood dishes (such as crab cakes) and cold meats.

The tanginess of remoulade sauce makes it the perfect accompaniment for crab cakes, whether they are served alone, with a salad, or in a bun.
This is what you will need to make it: chopped gherkins (or your favorite pickle), shallots, parsley, mustard, mayonnaise, tarragon and salt.
