The Huffington Post have taken the matter of salad sadness into their own hands and consulted The Flavor Bible to create an infographic that offers up tasty salad suggestions based on what flavours work well together.
The simple suggestions are perfect if you want to eat healthy but find yourself stuck on what ingredients to combine in the salad bowl.
For example: got bacon? Opt for tomatoes, eggs and a balsamic vinaigrette. Starting with goat’s cheese? Gran the nuts and peppers with a honey and herb vinaigrette.
The suggestions of no more than four simple ingredients will work perfectly when making salads and could just inspire you to think up some healthy new combinations for healthy dishes that also taste great.
